In under 5 minutes of even knowing about streamline.net i've managed to upload my forum software, change over my name servers and make a mySQL database!!
If only their was some way to look at my site while i was waiting for the domain name to propergate...
Anyway, top stuff. I'm never going back to WebFusion!
I bought their hosting plan last night, and it took 3 hours to set up 1 mySQL database (and three support tickets), 2 hours to upload my forum software (five support tickets), and easily over 4 hours (10 support tickets, £20 worth of being on hold) to talk to a technical advisor who told me that their FTP service wasn't running correctly, and that he'll get an FTP technition to look at it tommorow.
Unfortunatly they won't have a customer by then...
But hey, i'm happy now =P

Having recently signed up for an hosting account with Streamline.Net with the ecommerce add on which I can thoroughly recommend, I have found the sevrice that they offer second to none, I did have a few small teething problems at first but the streamline.Net team soon put me right.
I have over the years used different hosting companies and paid up to £100 pounds per annum for hosting services which offer much less.
Having always coded my own sites in the past I no longer have the time to mess around so I used their site wizard which seamlessly produced an excellent site which took about 9 hrs to complete. The lack of telephone support has to be expected at the budget end of the hosting industry but do not be concerned as the email support is very good.
Overall score 9/10 because nobody is perfect, if you are considering using them to host your website then please rest assured that you are getting a pretty good deal at a good price with very good backup

We searched the web for a hosting site that was in the UK and at a reasonable price. Streamline.Net is certainly the least expensive and because of this we checked the testimonials and phoned a couple of the companies that use the service, they were both very happy.
Clicking on some of the other sites we found that the simple ones opened very quickly indeed. This is what we wanted, nothing fancy just something simple that our customers could use as a reference. We tried it from home using dial up connections and the sites still opened fast. This was good enough for us, so we are now up and running and are very pleased with the way it works, the link to FTP Surfer was particularly useful, thank you.
We have also become affiliiates and hope to get our money back soon.
